Whilst modern cars are equipped with immobilisers and most with remote central locking a large number do not have a car alarm installed as standard. Autolec HD Ltd can install an alarm to any vehicle from a classic car to a brand new car or van. We specialise in Vodafone Automotive(formally Cobra) and Autowatch alarms with a wide range to suit both the vehicle and owners requirements.
You can either have a basic alarm system for your own peace of mind or we can supply and fit an insurance approved car alarm system which protects your whole car including; all doors, the bonnet and boot, interior sensors and a battery back up siren. These alarms have passed stringent tested by Thatcham Research to ensure it meetst their high standards, we also fit the alarm to a high standard to make it harder for any would be theif to locate. You will receive an installation certifiacte that may provide you with a discount on your insurance premium. The alarm system will be a Thatcham Cat 2-1 or Full Cat 1 depending on the make, model and year of the vehicle.
